Fox40 anchor accused in theft of Coach wallets

A Sacramento television personality has been arrested on charges of grand theft, burglary and conspiracy.
Sabrina Rodriguez, an anchor at Fox40 News, turned herself in to police Thursday after a warrant was issued for her arrest.
The arrest warrant charges that Rodriguez aided an accomplice in the theft of 10 wallets from a Coach outlet store in Folsom.
Store managers reported $2,500 in stolen merchandise on March 24, 2013 according to police.
Employees at the Coach store recognized Rodriguez as an anchor at a local television station, police said.
Rodriguez is scheduled to be arraigned in Sacramento Superior Court on Aug. 29.
She is free on $10,000 bail.
Rodriguez's attorney said she is "100 percent innocent" of the charges and looks forward to defending herself in court.
A spokesman for Fox40 said in a written statement that the charges relate to a personal situation and is not connected with her work at Fox 40.
Rodriguez has been granted a voluntary leave of absence from the station and maintains she is innocent of the allegations, the spokesman said.
