CITRUS HEIGHTS –
A fallen tree in Citrus Heights has resulted in a fatal collision.
Citrus Heights Police have confirmed one person has died after collision as a result of a large tree falling onto the roadway Saturday.
Two others were taken to local hospitals for minor to moderate injuries.
Both directions of Sunrise Boulevard are closed, from Locher Way to Sayonara Drive in Citrus Heights. Police are urging drivers to use alternate routes as crews continue to clear the road.
Traffic investigators are on scene. FOX40 will continue to provide updates as soon as they become available.
