If Game of Thrones Had Yelp, Here's How We'd Rate Westeros

Viewers love Game of Thrones—but would they love the businesses contained within its world? Only Yelp can tell us for sure.

There's less than a week until Game of Thrones is back for Season 4. Obviously, we'll have plenty of coverage all season long, but until the previews and recaps and spoilers get rolling, we thought we'd start by answering one very simple question: What's it actually like to live in Westeros? Obviously, not everyone is in a royal family or a member of the Kingsguard. There are peasants and bannermen and bakers and tavern-owners and cell-phone salespeople and okay probably not that last thing, but the point is that Westeros contains multitudes—many of whom, we imagine, are small-business owners. And, like so many other small-business owners, they're likely dependent on word of mouth to build their customer base. And that realization led to one more very simple question: How would a Westeros business fare on Yelp? The answer may surprise you. (Disclaimer: The answer will probably not surprise you.)
